Jonathan Shieh

Jonathan Shieh is a software engineer with expertise in developing mobile apps using React Native and integrating them with Node.js microservices. He is currently a Software Engineer at AT&T and an MBA candidate at Northwestern Kellogg.

Shieh has a background in cognitive science, and he focuses on crafting maintainable code and seamless user experiences. He emphasizes leading by example through exemplary work, taking project ownership, and effective communication with business stakeholders. Outside of his regular projects, he is involved in activities promoting diversity and inclusion, such as organizing discussion series and leading volunteer initiatives for various employee resource groups.

Jonathan Shieh holds a Bachelor's degree with majors in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and Computer Science, along with a minor in Math from Washington University in St. Louis. He also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

His professional experience includes roles at AT&T, where he progressed from Associate Application Developer to Senior Specialist Software Engineer. He has also worked as an IT Digital Marketing Intern at Cardinal Health and held positions as a Teaching Assistant and Residential Advisor at Washington University in St. Louis. Additionally, Jonathan has diverse experiences ranging from being a Web Developer at American Chinese School to conducting research at the Personality and Self-Knowledge Lab.
