Jonathan Scolnick is a seasoned professional with a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology, Neuroscience from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin. Known for his specialization in technology development in molecular biology and biomedical fields, Jonathan has a strong background in genomics, Aptamer discovery, High throughput sequencing, and genetic tests.

With a rich educational background and a keen interest in DNA technology, Jonathan's work primarily revolves around developing assays for genomics studies. His expertise extends to non-traditional applications of nucleic acids, including single molecule detection platforms and molecular counting.

Jonathan has held various significant roles throughout his career, notably serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Proteona and as a Co-Founder of the same organization. Prior to this, he was associated with renowned institutions and companies such as the National University of Singapore, Enzerna Biosciences, NuGEN Technologies, Natera, The Scripps Research Institute, A*Star, and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. He also co-founded Genebytes.
