Jonathan Rubens

Jonathan Rubens is a seasoned attorney specializing in small- to lower-middle-market mergers and acquisitions, closely-held company equity ownership transition, partner development, founder and adviser agreements.

He assists closely-held private companies with succession planning, implementing equity incentive compensation structures, and acquisitions, and offers legal services to investors in mergers & acquisitions and early-stage equity financing transactions.

With a diverse client base in industries like IT services, cybersecurity, data centers, consumer products, and more, Jonathan also collaborates with seed funds, family offices, and private equity investors on investments.

Having held leadership roles in the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and the SF chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, he is actively involved in creating legal content and monitoring issues related to business law, M&A, and venture capital.
