Jonathan Rand

Jonathan Rand is a prominent contemporary playwright, known for his extensive body of work that includes both one-act and full-length plays. His plays have been performed over 28,000 times across 70 countries, making him one of the most produced playwrights in the world. Notably, his comedy Check Please has been recognized as the most-produced short play in American schools for 19 consecutive years.13

Rand has achieved significant accolades in his career, including being a four-time finalist for the Heideman Award.
