Jonathan Liebenau

Jonathan Liebenau is an Associate Professor (Reader) at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in Technology Management. His expertise encompasses fundamental concepts of information and the role of information and communication technology in economic development. He has a diverse background that includes academic administration, technology policy, and the economic history of science-based industries, with a focus on how information is utilized within organizations.

Liebenau has authored or edited several books and over 70 publications. He has provided consultancy services to prominent companies such as Dell, IBM, and Microsoft, as well as various UK government agencies, including the Office of Science and Innovation and the Department of Trade and Industry. Additionally, he leads LSE Tech, a research group focused on Internet and Communications Economics, Policy, and Strategy.12
