Jonathan Lesser

Jonathan Lesser is an accomplished Investment Officer with experience in the real estate industry. He studied at Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, and The George Washington University. He has held various positions throughout his professional career, including Director of Investments and Investment Manager at EquityMultiple, Senior Associate at LW Hospitality Advisors and Global Strategy Group, and Staff Assistant at the U.S Department of Justice. Lesser has also provided training for the United Nations Association of the National Capitol Area Model U.N. program and served as an American Participant in the Youth Initiative for Progress in Iraq.

In his most recent role as Investment Officer, Real Estate at the NYC Office of the Comptroller, Lesser has put his knowledge to work, helping to manage the city's pension funds investments in various core, value-added and opportunistic real estate funds. Lesser's expertise in the real estate industry is a valuable asset to the NYC Office of the Comptroller, effectively managing investments and ensuring that the city's pension fund investments are safe.
