Jonathan Leong

Jonathan Leong is the Managing Director of Investment Banking at D.A. Davidson & Co., where he specializes in strategic finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital raising within the consumer and retail sectors. With over two decades of experience in investment banking, he has executed more than $60 billion in M&A and financing transactions across various markets, including the U.S., Europe, and Asia.2

Before his current role, Leong co-founded Jupiter Acquisition Corp., a SPAC focused on merging with consumer industry companies. His extensive background includes advising high-growth startups and established multinationals in the food and beverage sector, such as Chobani and PepsiCo.23 He is recognized for his ability to build strong client relationships and lead complex financial transactions.2

Leong holds a master's degree in finance from Claremont McKenna College and a bachelor's degree from Harvey Mudd College, where he double-majored in molecular biology and economics.1
