Jonathan Kuniholm

Jonathan Kuniholm is an accomplished mechanical and biomedical engineer with extensive experience in physical and product design, electromechanical control, and prototyping. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, Duke University, and North Carolina State University, where he earned degrees in English, Biomedical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, respectively.

Kuniholm is particularly passionate about empowering user innovation in underserved markets, design education and environments that encourage creativity and innovation, and developing open design and open hardware. He is an expert in prosthetics and medical devices, robotics, mechatronics, and controls.

Kuniholm is the Founder and Sole Member of StumpworX LLC, a company focused on creating innovative prosthetics. He has also held leadership positions in various organizations including the Shared Design Alliance/Open Prosthetics, National Council on Disability, and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans.

Throughout his career, Kuniholm has demonstrated his exceptional skills in physical design, concept development, detailed design, CAD, SolidWorks, and Matlab. He has received multiple awards and recognition for his work in innovation, creativity, and open-source design.
