Jonathan Kaplan is an experienced professional with a diverse background in law enforcement and public administration. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, with a focus on Sociology and Computer Science, from Western Illinois University. Additionally, he completed a Master of Public Administration at the University of Illinois Springfield.
Jonathan further honed his skills by studying at the University of Illinois Police Training Institute, where he obtained a Certificate of Basic Law Enforcement. He also graduated from Guilford High School with a High School Diploma in General Education.
Throughout his career, Jonathan Kaplan has held various roles at the Belvidere Police Department. He has served as a School Resource Officer, Police Patrol Officer, and Police Detective. Prior to his tenure at the police department, he worked as a Security Officer at the SwedishAmerican Health System.
