Jonathan Jones

Jonathan Jones is a prominent figure in the world of recruiting, having led recruitment efforts at several major companies over the course of his 15-year career. He began his journey with a degree in physics from the University of Oxford, after which he honed his skills across diverse roles in operations, business development, and talent acquisition, among others. Jones has lent his expertise to well-known firms such as Point72 Asset Management, BlackRock, and most recently D. E. Shaw & Co. These stints have included leadership roles such as Head of Talent at Roivant Sciences and SVP Recruiting at The D. E. Shaw Group.

Jones has ample experience in global campus and lateral recruiting, having served as Director of Global Campus Recruiting and later Global Head of Campus and Lateral Recruiting at BlackRock. He has also excelled in Goldman Sachs in various leadership roles, including Global Head of Recruiting, EMEA Head of Recruiting, and VP of Campus Recruiting.
