Jonathan Hsu

Jonathan Hsu is an accomplished investor and co-founder currently serving as an Investor at Neo Financial since March 2022. He has a robust background in the tech and investment sectors, having co-founded Tribe Capital, where he also holds the position of General Partner since June 2018. His investment portfolio includes roles at several companies, such as Marshmallow, Jeeves, and Pipe, alongside board memberships at Vinovest and zeroheight.12

Hsu's academic credentials are impressive; he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley in 2001. He then obtained a Master of Science in Physics from Stanford University in 2003, followed by a PhD in Physics in 2006.12

Before his current roles, Hsu worked at Facebook, where he led the creation of the Analytics and Data Science functional role, and he has been involved in various other tech ventures and investments throughout his career.2
