I served on the board of directors with a focus on product strategy, and currently serve on the board of advisors.

The RVIP Lounge is a karaoke bar housed in a customized RV. It started as a silly party to promote Rubyred Labs, and grew into an full tech event marketing business. We have hosted events for WIRED, Google, TED, Sundance Film Festival, AFI Fest, LA Film Fest, Coca-Cola, Starwood Hotels, Applause, Rocket Fuel, Red Bull, Lippincott, Andreessen Horowitz, Foursquare, Get Satisfaction, HBO, and dozens of others. Countless people have told us that our event was the best night of their life.

The RV itself is a platform for technical experimentation. Our favorite is a two-thousand light array on the vehicle's exterior that we wired, assembled, and programmed by hand.

In 2014, RVIP produced and released a critically acclaimed feature film, Let's Ruin It With Babies. I executive produced and co-starred. The company has several feature films and television shows in development, under the direction of CEO Kestrin Pantera (who I have the honor of being married to).

I ran the consumer mobile app business, the company's largest and fastest growing channel. Directly responsible for $100m+ in annual revenue.

I ran an independent product development consultancy, providing design, development, and product strategy services. I worked with agencies (WPP, Iconmobile, Enso), large corporate customers, and early stage startups.

For Google, we built a platform that localized ads to the neighborhood level and responded to realtime conditions like weather or traffic. I learned Python, and wrote code that was deployed on <a href="http://Google.com">Google.com</a>.

For Google Local, we built a dynamic video platform and created 18,000 videos featuring local businesses -- on for each city and town in the US. The system pulled stills from Google Streetview and compiled them into video clips. I learned the details geo-data, automated video editing, and Google's internal APIs.

For Colgate, the world’s largest coupon issuer, I created mobile coupon and payment engagement strategy. I learned about the financial dynamics of consumer packaged goods couponing, and delved deeper into the technical and business challenges of mobile payments.

I managed the product design team for Softcard, the mobile payment system built by Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It was later acquired by Google and rolled into Google Wallet. I learned how mobile payments work, from the global banking relationships down to the secure chipsets on smartphones.

I also managed consulting projects for Microsoft and Colgate.

Lookout is the world's leading mobile security company.

I joined in 2009 as the company's tenth employee and first product manager. We were a small and scrappy startup at that point, so in addition to product management I was managing the engineering process, designing the product, writing marketing copy, reporting to the board of directors, investigating malware attacks, and sometimes taking out the trash.

Under my watch, we grew the consumer user-base from 5,000 to 5,000,000; it has since grown much larger. I launched new products for Android and BlackBerry, and successfully rolled out a premium subscription business model. The fundamentals of my design strategy remain intact today.

Lookout's Android app is consistently one of the highest rated and most downloaded in the market. PC World gave it a 5-star editorial review and named it one of the top 100 products of 2010. Verizon produced and ran a multi-million-dollar TV ad campaign for it. People really like it.

Lookout is valued at over a billion dollars, and has raised $282 million in venture funding from the world's top investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla, Accel, Index, Trilogy, Bezos, Goldman Sachs, and Chris Sacca.

In 2007, Rubyred Labs spun off Get Satisfaction, a platform providing a simple way to build online communities that enable productive conversations between companies and their customers. It hosts over 50,000 customer communities for companies like P&G, <a href="http://Mint.com">Mint.com</a>, Nike, Foursquare, Visa, American Heart Association, <a href="http://Texas.gov">Texas.gov</a> and Microsoft.

I designed the original product and saw the company through the initial fundraising process.

Get Satisfaction raised $20.9 million from Azure, First Round, AlphaTech, Freestyle, and SoftTech. The company was acquired by Sprinklr in 2015.

At the dawn of the Web 2.0 era, we founded Rubyred Labs with the simple goal of working on whatever we thought was cool. Our design and development projects included Yahoo!'s mobile homepage, Sprint's mobile communication software (deployed on 20 million pre-iPhone devices), AdMob's ad buying system, and <a href="http://Heavy.com">Heavy.com</a>.

We were probably best known for a joke that turned into a real product called Valleyschwag. It was the first (or among the first) Web 2.0 monthly subscription services that sent people a box of stuff. It became famous/notorious for hosting the undisputed best party of the era, the Valleyschwag Hoedown. In addition to a lot of drinking, some friends came to the party and introduced their new product, Twitter.

We also garnered inexplicable international media attention for throwing a cereal eating party every Monday morning.
