Jonathan Grizou

Jonathan Grizou is the Founder of GrizAI, a consulting firm specializing in interdisciplinary technology innovation. He has been in this role since November 2019 and is based in Glasgow, Scotland. GrizAI focuses on providing consulting services that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to assist startups and other organizations in their tech development efforts.12

In addition to his work at GrizAI, Grizou is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Glasgow, where he engages in research aimed at enhancing creativity through technological tools. His academic interests include the measurement and implementation of creativity algorithmically, as well as innovative approaches to STEAM education.13 He has a strong background in robotics and AI, having co-founded another startup, Pollen Robotics, prior to establishing GrizAI.12

Grizou holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from INRIA in France, where he received national recognition for his doctoral thesis. His research has led to over 40 published scientific papers, and he has been involved in various international exhibitions showcasing his work.123 He is also known for his commitment to educational initiatives that make technology accessible to students of all ages, particularly through the use of smartphones in programming and robotics education.13
