Jonathan Britt, Structural EIT at Stantec
Jonathan Britt is a Structural Engineering EIT (Engineer-in-Training) at Stantec, a global design and engineering firm. He is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering at the University of South Carolina.1
Britt has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Francis Marion University.1 During his time at FMU, he conducted extensive research in Topological Data Analysis and formulated proofs about the breakdown of the Vietoris-Rips Complex in small point clouds.1

- Designing a steel spillway platform, reviewing rebar shop drawings, and aiding in designing a concrete slab for a dam while at Stantec1
- Serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Transportation Engineering course at the University of South Carolina1
- Interning at NASA's Stennis Space Center, where he researched equipment tracking technologies and presented recommendations for future tracking1
