    Jonathan Bonk

    Jonathan Bonk is an accomplished individual well-versed in religious studies and theology. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies from the University of Aberdeen, a Master of Arts from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and has studied Theological Studies and Theology at Providence College.

    Throughout his career, Jonathan Bonk has held various influential positions in different organizations. He currently serves as a Research Professor of Mission at Boston University School of Theology. In the past, he has served as the Executive Director Emeritus at Overseas Ministries Study Center, Project Director at the Dictionary of African Christian Biography, and President of the International Association for Mission Studies (IAMS), among others.

    Jonathan has also had teaching roles, having been a Visiting Professor at Yale Divinity School, Chairman and Professor at Global Christian Studies, and Professor of Global Christian Studies at Providence College and Seminary, among other academic positions. He has also been involved in founding institutions such as the May Institute of Mission Studies at Providence Theological Seminary and the Ida Grace McRuer Missions Resource Centre.
