Jonathan Berman
Jonathan Berman is a renowned expert in investing in emerging markets, global leadership, and frontier markets. He is currently the Managing Partner of AIP, a private partnership focused on investing in early-stage technology companies focused on emerging markets. Berman is also a board member of Asoko Insight and Invest Africa, where he provides strategic direction on investments in the African market.
Berman is the author of the book "Success in Africa," which has been praised by Bill Clinton, Neville Isdell, and Mark Mobius. His articles have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Bloomberg, and Harvard Business Review. Berman's expertise in emerging markets and global leadership has led to numerous advisory roles for Fortune 500 companies in various sectors, including oil, gas, mining, agribusiness, education, healthcare, IT, and consumer goods.
Berman holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Yale and an MA in Political Economy from UC Berkeley. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
