Jonathan Ayres

Jonathan Ayres, a highly accomplished financial and business executive, has an impressive background that is composed of several degrees and several executive titles. He holds an MSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Birmingham, an MA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, and an ACA Chartered Accountant degree from ICAEW. Throughout his career, he has assumed various leadership roles in some of the most prestigious financial institutions in the UK, which include serving as the Chief Financial Officer of several banks such as United Trust Bank, C Hoare & Co, and Ecofin. His expertise in finance and business stretches over more than two decades of experience in different fields such as auditing, change management, business recovery, and equity research.

Jonathan is a former Board Member of the British Bankers' Association (BBA), a former Chair of Specialist Banks' Working Group at UK Finance, and a former Audit & Oversight Committee member at BBA. He is also a former member of the Finance & Operations Committee at AMAR International Charitable Foundation. His extensive experience in finance, leadership, and auditing has yielded a multi-faceted skill set that yielded a successful professional background.
