Mercator was acquired by Ascential Software in 2003, and Ascential in turn was acquired by IBM Software Group in May of 2005.

Program Director - Information Integration

Responsible for driving product strategy, go-to-market programs, analyst relations, sales enablement, and customer retention for half of the company portfolio.

Part of growing revenue from 110M to 300M in 18 months.  Ascential was then acquired by IBM for 1.6B in May of 2005.

Responsible as a key member of the turn-around team this struggling software company.  Mercator was bleeding cash, and had anemic sales - though having the best-of-breed integration technology in the market.
Through key hiring and exit actions, a completely new go-to-market messaging and sales model, as well as focusing development and delivery on 4 key sales opportunities, we doubled sales revenue, cut capital attrition in half, and .... one year and 3 days after being hired to transform the company for sale - we agreed to the acquisition offer by Ascential Software.
