Jon Tortora

Jon Tortora is a seasoned executive leader with a diverse background in law, law enforcement, intelligence, security, and risk management. He leverages his extensive experience to drive dynamic organizational success.

Jon is a licensed attorney, holding memberships in the NY and D.C. Bars, as well as the Court of Appeals of the Armed Forces. He is also a Certified Federal Law Enforcement Officer with expertise in criminal investigation.

As a veteran, Jon received an honorable discharge and has earned certifications in port facility, ship, and company security, as well as terrorism prevention from the Department of Homeland Security.

In terms of education, Jon attended Poly Prep for high school, completed his Juris Doctor at Brooklyn Law School, and obtained a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. Furthermore, he pursued specialized training at the FBI Regional Command College and the Partnership for Public Service's Excellence in Government Fellows Program.

Jon's professional journey includes roles such as Executive Director and Special Investigations Attorney at Morgan Stanley, Deputy Associate Commissioner for Anti-Fraud Programs, and Security and Emergency Preparedness at the Social Security Administration. He has also served as a Deputy Director of Counterintelligence at the Department of Homeland Security and held positions at organizations like SAIC, General Dynamics, and the US Coast Guard Reserves.

Additionally, Jon has showcased his legal expertise in various capacities, including as an Analyst at the law enforcement firm, SAIC, and as In-House Counsel at Blue Planet Technology, Empire Coach, and AIG. He also worked as a Military Intelligence Officer at the US Coast Guard Reserves and served as an Advocate at the NYPD.
