Jon Schlegel is the owner of Snooze, An A.M. Eatery, a popular breakfast restaurant chain with locations in Colorado, California, Arizona, and Texas.1 He founded the business in 2006 after hitting his "snooze button" in 2001 and coming up with the idea for Snooze.1 As the founder, CEO, and host, Schlegel was able to create and refine the details of the business, establish the brand, and work with a stellar team to grow the company.1

In addition to his work with Snooze, Schlegel also owns a bed and breakfast called La Casa Gialla (The Yellow House) in Monforte d'Alba, Italy, in the Barolo wine region.1 He purchased the property with his wife and son in 2014 and uses it as a base for conducting tours, furthering his food and hospitality research, and making wine.1 While he has recently moved back to Denver, Schlegel still visits the Barolo region 4-5 times per year.1
Education and Certifications
Schlegel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from the University of Denver, graduating in 1997.1 He also holds a certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers, which he obtained in 2004.1
