Jon Prettyman
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for Transformative Change
Jon Prettyman is an expert in climate change mitigation, resilience building, development, and humanitarian programs. Currently, Jon is actively involved with EIT Climate-KIC, focusing on signals of transformation and learning from innovation portfolios.
Jon holds a Master of Public Policy with a Global Policy Concentration from Duke University and a BA in Political Science from the University of Florida, setting a strong academic foundation for his work.
With a vast array of experiences, Jon has held various roles such as Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Team member at Climate-KIC, Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Technology Adviser, Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant, M&E Workshops and M&E Plan Development, Summative Evaluation for Promoting Social Cohesion Program, Mobile data collection landscape analysis, Acting Country Director, Interim MEL Advisor, and Applied Research and M&E Manager at Mercy Corps.
Jon has also contributed to various organizations and projects, including serving as a Knowledge Management Intern at Save the Children International, Public Health Program Consultant at North Carolina Division of Public Health, Monitoring and Evaluation Intern, Intake Case Manager at Lutheran Social Services of the South, Quality Control Enumerator at US Census Bureau, and Team Leader at AmeriCorps NCCC.
