Jon Lax

Jon Lax is a highly experienced VP of Product Design at Facebook, with a strong background in leading renowned product design firm Teehan+Lax before his current role.

He is currently overseeing the Design organization within Facebook Reality Labs, including teams working on Oculus, Portal, Spark, XR, and AR.

During his tenure at Facebook, Jon has played a pivotal role in designing various products such as Profile, Search, Events, Marketplace, Login, Games, and Pages.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Jon Lax now resides in the Bay Area.

His educational background includes studies at Upper Canada College and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of King's College.

Throughout his career, Jon has held significant positions such as Vice President of Design AR/VR at Facebook, Director of Product Design at Facebook, Partner at Teehan+Lax, Creative Director at Modem Media, Senior Copywriter at Grey Interactive, and Online Co-Ordinator at Shift Magazine.
