Jon Fehlman is a retired Chief of Police and currently serves as a member of the Board of Advisors at the Institute for American Police Reform (IAPR). This organization is dedicated to providing non-partisan guidance on policing practices and reform.13
Fehlman has a robust background in law enforcement, having previously held the position of Police Chief in Bainbridge Island, where he made headlines for his resignation in 2012 amid various challenges.45 In addition to his role at IAPR, he has also been involved in social services, notably serving on the Board of Directors for United Against Sexual Assault from 2004 to 2008.2
His educational credentials include a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Management, which complement his extensive experience in policing and community engagement.2
