One of 20 winners of Big Venture Challenge, National Lottery-funded initiative supporting social enterprises. Independently evaluated by University of London Institute of Psychiatry. Co-Founder. Compatibility Quotient (CQ) test developed with leading psychologist Dr Glenn Wilson, with whom I also co-authored three peer-reviewed scientific journal articles, and co-authored book, CQ: Learn the Secret of Lasting Love, published in UK and five other countries (translated). Generated and handled extensive publicity in UK media, TV appearances in USA. Also developed Textmaniax SMS dating application for use in venues: trialled in London Science Museum and at Cheltenham Science Festival.

Devised content and concepts. Ran workshops with 10-14 year-olds to explore ways in which children would use the web to learn. Won new media award for educational software commissioned by leading UK supermarket. Published weekly ezine to tens of thousands of kids worldwide. Appointed partner organisation to UK Government Cabinet Office. Ran frequent school science days. Appeared at conferences as expert panel member.

Founder and Managing Director. Also Creative Director with full day-to-day hands-on responsibility for concepts and copywriting. Clients included BT (British Telecom), Royal Mail, Penguin Books and Victoria & Albert Museum. Multiple award-winning, £12 million billings, 16 staff. Grew from nothing (back room at home) to significant business. Closed voluntarily in order to spend sabbatical year travelling.
