Jon Atkinson is the Chief Executive Officer of The Idea Village, a nonprofit organization based in New Orleans that focuses on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the region. Atkinson has a rich background in entrepreneurship and finance. Before becoming CEO of The Idea Village, he served as the Fund Administrator for Lagniappe Angels, an angel investment group focused on early-stage companies. His responsibilities included sourcing investment opportunities and managing the group's investment pipeline.1 He also played a significant role in academia as the founding director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Community Development at Loyola University New Orleans, where he developed programs aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial skills among students.2
