Jolene Makisi

Jolene Makisi is a dedicated and enthusiastic leader with a rich background in Marketing, Digital, and Automation.

With a strong focus on driving large-scale marketing initiatives to meet business and customer objectives, Jolene excels in teamwork and values collective achievements.

Jolene pursued a Leadership Development Programme for Post Graduate Management Studies at the University of Waikato, and holds a BCA degree in Accounting and Management from Victoria University of Wellington.

She currently serves as the Director of Digital Experience at Xero and has previously held pivotal roles such as Director of Xero.com Experience, Marketing Operations & Automation Director, and Head of Online at the same organization.

Prior to her tenure at Xero, Jolene gained valuable experience at Telecom New Zealand as a Senior Marketing Manager and Online Sales Manager, and at Gen-i as a Business Development Consultant.

Her career also includes roles such as Senior Retention Manager at BT and Marketing Manager at O2 UK, showcasing her diverse skill set and extensive industry knowledge.
