Joi holds an MBA Cum Laude in emerging market strategy from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and has also earned a first-level CFA. Additionally, she was awarded a Technology Fellowship focused on economically disruptive technologies from the McKinsey Global Institute.

    Joi's dedication to environmental causes extends beyond her professional roles. She has served as an Ocean Conservancy Senior Fellow of Innovation, further demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact. During her tenure at Systemiq, Joi has led a team of 45 environmental leaders to support the Indonesian government in addressing its waste and ocean plastic crisis. Through their efforts, over 40,000 tonnes of waste have been prevented from polluting nature, hundreds of green jobs have been created, and more than $50 million has been mobilized into Indonesia's waste system. Additionally, Joi's team has successfully influenced key national policy changes.
