Johnny Russo is a passionate leader experienced in motivating and building teams for growth in the retail industry.

He has successfully driven global Ecommerce sales exceeding $450 million and orchestrated over 1.5 billion website visits with top conversion rates for renowned retailers like Mark's, Canadian Tire, Bentley, Mexx, and Buffalo.

Currently, Johnny holds the position of Associate Vice-President of Digital Marketing and Ecommerce at Mark's and L'equipeur, part of the Canadian Tire Corporation, focusing on Digital Transformation and driving Ecommerce growth for a top Canadian apparel retailer.

His expertise in Marketing, Digital, and Ecommerce has garnered recognition through awards in various categories such as website experience, Ecommerce, branding, paid search, and email campaigns.

Johnny's commitment to mentorship is evident in his involvement as a board or advisory member for several organizations, including the Calgary Marketing Association, Etail Canada, Mtl + Ecommerce, the Retail Council of Canada, the National Retail Federation, Listrak, and ForeSee.

A firm believer in personal and career development, Johnny mentors several individuals annually, guiding them towards growth and success.

With a diverse educational background including certificates from The University of Toronto and The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Johnny continues to prioritize learning and skill enhancement.

Aside from his professional endeavors, Johnny is a former Chief Digital Officer at Lamour, previously serving in the same capacity at MLG Brands, and also having been a Board Member and Investor at INVICTA Commerce Ventures.

His competitive spirit extends beyond the boardroom, as he has represented Team Canada four times at the World Ball Hockey Championships, clinching gold medals on two occasions.
