Johnny Boufarhat is the Founder and CEO of Hopin, a live online events platform that allows organizers to create captivating and engaging virtual events.123 He founded Hopin in January 2019 and grew it from six employees in February 2020 to over 800 employees and a valuation of almost $8 billion by September 2021, making it one of the fastest-growing startups in history.23

Boufarhat was inspired to create Hopin after developing an autoimmune illness that left him isolated at home for two years. During his recovery, he struggled to attend events and connect with people virtually, so he built Hopin to enable remote connection and engagement.34

In addition to Hopin, Boufarhat is also the Founder of the Clear Living Foundation, which aims to address environmental toxins and their impact on health.56 The foundation was inspired by Boufarhat's personal experiences with toxins and the numerous stories and studies of their effects.6
