A Sr. Consultant in Deloitte's Cloud practice.  I guided a $20 million dollar global security transformation effort for a very large (confidential) customer.   I led teams in Asia Pacific, EMEA (Europe Middle East Africa), and in the Americas in all time zones.   This is a very large global customer with 300,000 employees.  This involves a review and standardization of Next Gen security platforms, upgrades, adding new functionality.  This security solutions should allow the company to substantially grow as are expected to last 4-5 year life span before refresh, and have already been stressed (and working) throughout additional unprecedented utilization as a result of the global COVID pandemic.  This created a state of the art system that is centrally maintained and managed saving in both CapEx and OpEx with less Technical Debt vs. other and decentralized solutions.  It is better managed as well because of better and more complete information is available on centralized and consistent tools.  This requires a great deal of leadership skills to work effectively with highly technical teams all over globe and with many the many different cultures as well.  We also were able to reduce an initial estimate by approximately 2/3rds for very effective stewardship.

Transform Huntington Bank, a major Midwestern Regional Banking IT Infrastructure.  Duties include: assisting with multi-year projects deploying next generation Cisco ACI,  DWDM IWAN and Tetration technology as well as designing and migrating to new data centers.  These projects take the organization into the next 5 years or longer into the future.  Complete major acquisition of another sizable banking system.  Migrate LD to SIP.  New Remote ATM solution.  Solutions for security enhancements.  Yearly maintenance reviews and financial management, negotiate discounts, costs savings.  Provide guidance to PMs and Project Teams as well as together technical and business cases for projects and major expenditures for the IT enterprise.  I work at all levels:  with various departmental leaders, negotiate with vendors and make key recommendations to the IT leadership.

Network design and solutions for TCS customer Cargill.  This was a USG contract position.  Specifying and documenting overall network designs, working through operational requirements and challenges, create, contract and test in labs as needed.  Lead Technical Teams in NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM.  Work with vendors and operations on specific product selection and configurations.  Create standardized solutions that can be replicated throughout the enterprise, as well as custom solutions to problems.  Assisting with rollout of designs, trouble shooting, migrations, design improvements, cost reductions.  Great understanding of security solutions as well, Software Defined WAN (SDN) solutions taking the organization beyond typical MPLS networks to the next evolutionary design that make best use of all the bandwidth available, active/active configurations, and reducing dependency on expensive MPLS connections with a degree of QOS/optimization over Internet.
