John Thomas is an individual with a diverse background in arts and society. He studied Cultureel Werk: Arts & Society at SA Den Elzent and also engaged in schoolmuziek at Staatsexamens conservatorium without completing a major.
His professional journey includes holding various roles in different organizations. John serves as the director at Axes (formerly axesjazzpower) and has previously worked with organizations like Stichting Axes, Union of Dutch Jazz Venues [VIP], Jazzpower, and more.
In addition to his leadership roles, John Thomas has a rich history of teaching and performing. He has been a saxophone teacher for private students, a saxophonist, and composer in numerous bands. Moreover, he has also explored the realms of dance and theatre by being involved as a dancer and actor in projects like Spade and other Dance & Theatre Projects.
