John Thomas

John Thomas is a seasoned software engineer with over two decades of experience building and scaling high-performance engineering teams across various product domains. With a particular passion for both consumer and enterprise web applications for commerce, payment systems, advertising, and engineering productivity, Thomas has held senior positions at well-respected organizations such as Google, Uber, and Youtube. He has also invested in and advised early-stage startups.

Thomas attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied M.S in Computer Science. Prior to that, he obtained a B.E in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai. He also attended the Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in high school.

At Google, the director of engineering has made notable contributions, while at Uber, he held the position of Director of Engineering, Pricing and Fares. He has also previously held Engineering Manager roles at Google and YouTube, and he led projects at Tata Consultancy Services for a time.
