John Tan

John Tan is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background in law, finance, and economics.

He holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Singapore Management University, a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from National University of Singapore, a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and a First Class Honours in Economics / Finance from Murdoch University.

In addition, John Tan has been recognized as a Singapore Qualified Lawyer, further demonstrating his expertise in the legal field.

With a wealth of experience in the financial sector, John Tan has held key roles in various prestigious organizations.

He currently serves as the Vice President and Senior Legal Counsel for Global Markets in the Asia Pacific region at Deutsche Bank.

Previously, he worked as PTC in the Attachments Financial Services Department at Allen & Gledhill LLP, Director and Senior Investment Counsellor at Citi Private Bank in Asia Pacific, and Director and Regional Head of Credit Structuring in the Global Markets division at Standard Chartered Bank.

Furthermore, John Tan has a background in research and trading, having served as an Associate Director, Senior Fixed Income Strategist, and Economist in Global Research at Standard Chartered Bank, along with experience in FX Forward Swaps Trading at Deutsche Bank.
