John Ta is a dedicated individual with a strong interest in financial literacy education, patient wellness advocacy, healthcare innovation, and entrepreneurship. He is a serial entrepreneur, an avid powerlifter, and a first-generation student.
John Ta's educational background includes studying High School Dual Enrollment at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, High School at Massachusetts Academy of Math & Science, MS in Chemistry, and a BA in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as attending Saint John's High School.
In terms of professional experience, John Ta has been a Venture Fellow at Ripple Ventures, an Incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at SVB Leerink, the Director of Finance & Co-founder at Penn EduCare, the Founder of Common Cents, a Strategic Finance Intern at Loft, a Business Development Intern at The Finance Twins, the Head Learning Assistant for CHEM-241 (Organic Chemistry I), as well as a Teaching Assistant for MATH-241 (Partial Differential Equations) and BCHE-404 (Biochemistry Research) at the University of Pennsylvania.
