John Starkweather is a seasoned marketer with extensive experience in wireless and consumer electronics industries. He is known for building communities of customers and influencers, which set the foundation for many businesses today. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his strategic brand and digital marketing, relationship-building, and ability to create human-to-human experiences for brands. He believes these are essential behaviors that all marketers should embrace: listen to customers, engage in honest dialogue, and keep commitments.
John attended Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business for the Corporate Executive Development Program and earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Brigham Young University. He has held various marketing positions including Associate Vice President Marketing at AT&T, Executive Director of Digital Marketing, Mobile & Business Solutions at AT&T, Worldwide Director of Digital Marketing at HTC, and Director of Social & Digital Marketing, Premium Mobile Experiences, and International Director of Marketing at Microsoft to name a few. At WE Communications, he worked as an Account Director.
