John Scholler

John Scholler is currently serving as the Research Project Manager/Lab Manager at Carl June's laboratory in the Translational Research Program at the University of Pennsylvania. In this role, he leads studies focused on understanding and overcoming tumor evasion of T cell therapy. John is in charge of designing, developing, and evaluating novel chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) and ensuring the quality control of lentiviral products for clinical use. Additionally, he supervises technical staff and post-doctoral fellows. John's diverse background includes experience in biotechnology companies like Amgen, Immunex, Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), and Corixa, as well as academia at the University of Pennsylvania and the non-profit sector at the Seattle Biomedical Research Institute (SBRI). His multifaceted training equips him with exceptional versatility to manage projects in immunology effectively.
