John Salmon

John Salmon is an experienced technology lawyer with over 20 years of experience in digital and online legal issues, specializing in FinTech.

He has provided strategic technology and digital project advice to major financial institutions over the past 15 years, covering areas such as IT procurement, outsourcing, cloud projects, cyber security, mobile payments, and digital platforms.

John Salmon holds an LLB (Hons.) in Law from The University of Edinburgh and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Strathclyde.

He has held key positions in renowned law firms including being a Partner at Hogan Lovells and Pinsent Masons, as well as serving as Sector Head for Financial Services and Insurance at Pinsent Masons.

Throughout his career, he has also worked at various levels at Bird Semple, Morton Fraser, and has contributed significantly to the legal field with his expertise in technology law and FinTech projects.
