John Sabey

John Sabey is the CEO of Sabey Corporation and Executive Director of Sabey Data Centers, one of the world's largest privately-owned designer/builder/operator data center companies.12 He leads a company of 150 people in the acquisition and development of a commercial real estate portfolio, primarily comprising office and medical technology space, totaling approximately 5.4 million square feet.13

Sabey joined the family business in 1995 after a successful career with Prudential Real Estate Investors in Chicago.1 He has played a crucial role in developing specialty technology properties for various sectors, including medical/life sciences, communications, government, and military.3 As Big Data emerged as an essential component of hyper-scaled products and services, Sabey recognized the critical reliance on robust, highly reliable data centers.2

Under his leadership, Sabey Data Centers has assembled an impressive customer portfolio, including globally-known enterprises in financial services, content delivery, life science research, entertainment, technology innovation, and healthcare.13

John Sabey holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.13
