    John Ruocco is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance and public service.

    After retiring as a financial & bank supervision officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, John transitioned into politics and was elected as a Councilman in Hillsdale, NJ in November 2014.

    During his tenure, he held several prominent roles including chairman of the Finance Committee, Police Commissioner, and liaison to senior citizen groups, showcasing his strong leadership and commitment to community service.

    In September 2017, John was appointed Mayor of Hillsdale, and he subsequently won the following general election with a significant majority.

    His dedication was further recognized when he ran for reelection unopposed in November 2019, securing a second term starting in January 2020.

    John Ruocco's educational background includes studying Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at the NY Institute of Finance, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia College, and pursuing an MBA in Finance from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

    He also enriched his knowledge in Business Administration and Management by attending courses at the University of Michigan Business School.

    Throughout his career, John held various key positions in notable organizations, including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he served as AVP for different banking sectors and as Chief of the Statistics Department.

    His involvement extended to the Borough of Hillsdale, New Jersey, where he served as Councilman, Council President, and ultimately as Mayor, demonstrating a well-rounded and impactful professional journey.
