John Regan

John Regan is the Managing Partner of T2G Ventures, a venture advisory firm, with over 25 years of experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture capital investing in IT, healthcare, software, and data.

He collaborates closely with start-up CEOs and technical founders in various capacities such as a board member, C-level manager, and strategic business partnership resource.

Previously, John held the position of Managing Director at Illinois Ventures, contributing to its growth as a top university venture program, and at Energy Foundry, an innovation hub for IoT and software.

He chaired the Annual Global Midwest Alliance Corporate Venture Capital Events from 2015 to 2017 and has served on the boards of several technology companies including CDnow, EnvestNet, Arnold Palmer Golf, E-Therapy, Calico Energy Data, and Novian Health.

John's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a Master's Degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in General Engineering from the same university.

He has held various leadership positions in organizations such as Navier, Inc., Calico Energy, Novian Health, Eden Park Illumination, Carallel, LLC, E-Therapy, Energy Foundry, Illinois Ventures, Illinois Emerging Technology Funds, Keystone Ventures, Apex Venture Partners, and General Dynamics.
