John Neamonitis

John Neamonitis is the Founder and General Partner at Lakehouse Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Brooklyn, New York, that specializes in early-stage investments, particularly in the consumer and enterprise technology sectors. He has a background in finance and international business, having studied at NYU Stern School of Business from 1998 to 2002, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

Neamonitis began his career as an analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman in 2002, later working at Credit Suisse and GoldenTree Asset Management. He served as a Vice President at AB Bernstein from 2010 to 2012 before co-founding WorkOf in 2013, a platform designed to connect designers with independent furniture makers, which he sold in 2018. Since founding Lakehouse Ventures in 2016, he has focused on investing in startups that address significant challenges and opportunities in the market, typically leading pre-seed and seed funding rounds with investments ranging from $100,000 to $500,000.123
