    Throughout his career, John Melkon has been associated with prestigious organizations, having served as an Extraordinary Professor of Practice at North-West University, contributed to the Center for the Study of Civil-Military Operations at the United States Military Academy at West Point, held the position of Director at the United States Military Academy, fulfilled roles as an Operations Planning Officer at the Department of Defense and as a Special Forces Officer in the Army Special Forces (Airborne), and served as an Officer in the US Army.
