John Melas-Kyriazi
John Melas-Kyriazi is a successful startup founder, angel investor, and advisor with a wealth of experience in the innovation economy. He co-founded and currently serves as CEO of Quaestor, a financial collaboration platform for startups and venture capital firms. Prior to this, John invested in numerous Seed/Series A-stage companies during his five-year tenure at Spark Capital, where he led investments and served as a supporting capacity in companies such as Andela, Wildtype, Capella Space, SoundHouse, and Full Harvest. John's path to startup success started when he dropped out of his Ph.D. program in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University to help build StartX at its earliest stages before joining Spark Capital as a VC. John's educational background includes a B.S. with Honors in Engineering Physics, an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, and high school at The Roxbury Latin School.
