He has served as the Director of Research Initiatives in the Engineering & Physical Sciences division at the SDSU Research Foundation. Additionally, he has taken on advisory roles, such as being an Advisor for the SDSU Team at the Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) and a Kika de la Garza Fellow at the US Department of Agriculture.
