John McElroy
John McElroy is a highly acclaimed audiobook producer, director, and scriptwriter. He holds a Master's degree in English Literature from Columbia University and has pursued further studies at Rutgers University. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, John has garnered numerous awards and recognitions, including three Grammys and one Audio Publishers Association Hero Award. He currently serves as the President of Eljin Productions, Inc, the largest payor of SAG-AFTRA audiobook talent in America.
Throughout his career, John has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, producing and directing challenging and exciting projects. His expertise lies in talent payment, production, and direction of audio content, scriptwriting, talent casting, and payment, and sound design. He has also lectured in English Literature at Rutgers University and worked as an executive assistant at Penguin Group USA.
John is an active member of his community, having served as a board member for The Haven Foundation, president of Wavedancer Foundation, and owner of John McElroy Production & Talent Services, LLC and Gashouse Productions. He has also freelanced as a copy editor for various companies, including Esquire Magazine.
