John Mackewich

John Mackewich is a skilled attorney with a wealth of experience in business, employment, and cannabis law. He has been serving clients in the medical and recreational marijuana and industrial hemp industries since 2012. John has a proven track record of successfully helping cultivators, processors, and dispensaries obtain marijuana and industrial hemp licenses across the US. Additionally, John drafts cannabis business plans, facility plans, inventory plans, security plans, marketing plans, standard operating procedures, and other state-required compliance documents. He assists marijuana operators in multi-state and international expansions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisition and financing, as well as general contract law.

With his extensive experience in corporate law and regulatory compliance, John has been providing legal representation for startup and emerging companies. He assists both domestic and international clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, franchising, and drafting commercial agreements. John also helps with corporate and commercial financing, including private and public offerings of equity and debt securities, private equity and venture capital transactions, structuring and drafting finance and credit facilities.
