John MacDonald

Director, Product Management

John MacDonald is a passionate technology leader with a background in medicine. He specializes in leading the development, productization, and go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge technologies in augmented reality, wireless power, and digital health. John holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Calgary, a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences & Economics from Queen's University.

John has held key roles in prestigious organizations, including serving as the Director of Product Management at Meta, Cofounder and CEO of Spansive, Instructor at MIT Media Lab, Research Assistant in CSAIL at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and as a Family Medicine Resident at St. Michael's Hospital. Additionally, he has experience as a Freelance Writer focusing on automotive content for The Toronto Star's Wheels Section.
