John J. Lewis

John Lewis is the CEO and Chairman of InMoment, a company specializing in feedback management and experience improvement solutions. He was appointed to this role on September 22, 2022, succeeding Andrew Joiner, who had been CEO since 2017.14 Prior to becoming CEO, Lewis served as the Executive Chairman of InMoment from May 2019 until his current appointment.25

Lewis has extensive experience in the information services and software analytics sectors. Before joining InMoment, he was the Global President of Nielsen Holdings, where he oversaw significant portions of the company's revenue and led numerous strategic acquisitions.34 His leadership at Nielsen involved transforming various business segments, which contributed to substantial revenue growth and enhanced profitability.13 Additionally, Lewis is an Executive Partner at Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity firm that has been a majority owner of InMoment since 2019.25

In his role at InMoment, Lewis aims to enhance the company's ability to integrate customer signals and improve client outcomes through innovative solutions. He emphasizes the importance of actionable customer intelligence in maintaining InMoment's leadership in the integrated customer experience market.14

Lewis holds a degree from Princeton University and has a strong background in transforming and scaling businesses within competitive markets.6
