John Kensett

John Kensett is a seasoned professional who joined Dolleymores in 1989 and rose to become a partner in 1992, focusing on patent application and prosecution in the fields of physics, electronics, computing, and telecommunications.

With a background in physics and extensive experience in private practice as well as a major UK Defense and Electronics Company's patent department, John Kensett obtained qualifications as a Chartered Patent Attorney in 1987, a European Patent Attorney in 1988, and is also a Registered Trademark Attorney.

Outside of work, John Kensett has a passion for amateur drama, frequently taking on significant roles in local productions and occasionally delving into directing. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

His specialties lie in patents and designs, bringing a wealth of expertise and skills to his role as a partner at Dolleymores.
