John K. Waters
John K. Waters is a seasoned technology journalist with more than two decades of experience writing about global trends and Silicon Valley's companies and culture. He received a BA in General Studies from the University of Iowa and an AA in Fine/Studio Arts from Grand View College. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities, including as Editor in Chief and Editor at Large at Converge360 Media, where he currently moderates online summits and tech talks.
Additionally, he is the Editor in Chief of Application Development Trends and writes the WatersWorks blog, where he shares his insights and opinions on industry topics. He also contributes news and columns to Redmond Magazine and Redmond Channel Partner, as well as Pure AI. Moreover, John hosts the WatersWorks podcast, where he interviews notable industry figures and sheds light on their perspectives.
Furthermore, he has authored several books, including "The Everything Guide to Social Media," which examines this world-changing phenomenon, and "Blobitecture," a book on the architectural and industrial design trend facilitated by computer software. His background also includes co-scripting the documentary film "Silicon Valley: A 100 Year Renaissance," which aired on PBS.
